Someday’s you slide…

This past week, I slid on my eating behavior.
Back to unhealthy habits.
I was triggered by back pain.
And I coped with food. 

I need to shorten the gap when I slide. 
I slid when I did not feel well. 
And I slid for 7 days. 
Next time make it will be 6.  

Something will always come up.
Something will always happen.
You will fall off track. 

Get back on the horse.
Love yourself.

See the part of you that slipped. 
Don’t be shamed by it. 
See it. 

Honor it. 

See the relationship that you have with food. 
Recognize that you are using the food to cope.
And make it a positive experience when you do.

And when you are done coping.
When you are ready to move on.

You won’t feel bad about sliding.
Because it’s ok.
And you needed that. 


But you don’t need it forever. 
And you can need it less and less.


Each time you slide.
Honor it.


Each time you slide.
Try to move through it a little faster.


Each time you slide. 
Feel not guilt.
