Follow the Rabbit...

It is a pretty common question for people to ask me where the name Rabbit Hole came from. Many people think it’s just a goofy name pulled from Alice in Wonderland or The Matrix, but the truth is there is a lot more meaning in the name than that.

When I was fifteen years old I started a recording studio in the basement of my house called Rabbit Hole Recording. It looked a lot like a giant blanket fort, but regardless I recorded nearly every local band I could find in that fortress. I didn’t really know what I was doing at the time but I loved every minute of it.

It was in that blanket fort in my basement that I discovered my passion for media creation and I realized that this is what I wanted to do with my life. It was at this point in time that the name took on a whole new meaning and I decided to see how deep the Rabbit Hole really goes.

Rabbit Hole became a metaphor for chasing my dreams. It lead to me to Belmont University where I would study entrepreneurship and create a company that would accomplish more than I had ever imagined.

What I have learned is that the Rabbit Hole keeps going deeper and my dreams keep getting bigger. As long as I am motivated to chase them, anything is possible.

I encourage you to envision what your own dreams are and realize that there is nothing to stop you from accomplishing them. Why not take a risk, and see how deep the rabbit hole really goes…
