14 B2B Lead Generation Agencies to Compare

Published Updated 13 min read
Your sales team may have the capacity to close more business without the time to research accounts, start conversations and follow up with every prospect. A B2B lead generation agency can take on that work and introduce your sellers to potential buyers.
Choosing one means deciding how much of the sales process to hand over. Some firms concentrate on booking meetings. Others provide a managed sales development team or combine outreach with marketing programs. The useful comparison is what they will deliver, who will do the work and how it fits the way your customers buy.
This guide compares 14 providers of outsourced prospecting and appointment setting. It explains how to assess their services, fees and contracts, with published prices and commitments included where available.
Compare B2B lead generation agencies
Each firm below describes outsourced B2B prospecting or appointment setting on its own service pages. Broader marketing or data services alone do not qualify a firm for this list. Figures and terms are the firms' own statements from September 2026; the alphabetical order is not a performance ranking.
Use the “Consider it for” column to narrow your shortlist. The profiles add service details and published terms where available. An SDR is a sales development representative: the person researching, contacting and qualifying prospects before the sales handoff.

Agree on the handoff and how to judge it
Lead Cookie, the prospecting business I later sold, handed over LinkedIn conversations for customers to follow up. In my December 2018 sales-call framework, I told buyers to plan on about 30 minutes a day to work those leads.
That division of work belongs in the buying conversation. Ask the agency what it will own during setup and outreach, exactly what reaches your seller, and what your team must do next. Then compare the proposal with your sales cycle and follow-up capacity.
Give each agency the same brief
Outsourced prospecting brief
- Target accounts and exclusions
- Buyer roles, regions and languages
- Channels your buyers respond to
- Offer and reason for a prospect to take a meeting
- Typical deal value and sales cycle
- Work the agency will own
- What makes a meeting qualified
- Who accepts meetings and handles follow-up
- Budget, test period and decision date
A qualified meeting needs a usable definition. Include the account's fit, the attendee's role, the problem being discussed and the evidence the agency should supply. Decide how to handle a no-show, an existing opportunity or a meeting outside the agreed market. Ask to see an anonymized handoff so your sellers can assess the information they would receive.
Keep booked meetings, held meetings, accepted opportunities and revenue separate in reporting. A longer sales cycle may justify continuing before deals close, but it does not remove the need to inspect whether conversations are progressing.
Compare the full cost and commitment
The published terms above illustrate why a monthly fee cannot settle this decision. Callbox's estimate is per campaign pod. CIENCE separates infrastructure from SDR capacity. Sapper's rates change with the tier and contract length. Ask each provider to price the same scope and show the total commitment through your first decision date.
For a first engagement, I would prefer a defined test with a clear review point. If the contract extends beyond it, understand what the review can actually change. A pilot label does not itself give you a right to cancel.
Before signing, settle these points in writing:
- Charges: Which setup, staffing, software, data and performance charges apply?
- Commitment: What is the minimum term, renewal process and notice period?
- Control: Who approves targeting and messages, and who can pause outreach?
- Remedies: What happens to rejected meetings, no-shows and missed targets?
- Ownership: Who owns the contact data, campaign records and conversation history when the engagement ends?
- References: Can the firm provide a reference with a comparable buyer, deal value and sales cycle?
I would be cautious about a proposal that promises results before asking how your customers buy. The discovery conversation should establish whether the agency can reach your market and whether your team can convert the introductions.
Check how outreach will represent your company
Ask whose domains, names and profiles the agency will use, which tasks people perform and which are automated. This belongs in vendor selection because prospects will associate the outreach with your business.
LinkedIn's User Agreement (opens in a new tab), read in September 2026, prohibits unauthorized automated messaging and using another person's account. For US commercial email, the FTC's guidance (opens in a new tab), read the same month, says CAN-SPAM covers B2B messages and responsibility cannot be contracted away to a vendor. It requires honoring opt-outs within 10 business days. This is not legal advice; have the appropriate internal owner review the process for each target market.
If the brief reveals a wider need for positioning, content or paid demand generation, compare B2B marketing agencies before committing to an appointment target.
