Event Marketing Agencies: 27 Firms Compared by the Job You Need

By

Published Updated 23 min read

An event puts your brand in front of people for a few hours, and everything about it has to work on the day: the venue, the content, the staff, and the people you wanted in the room. An event marketing agency can carry much of that load, but the term covers very different firms. Some build and run the whole event. Some send trained staff to run pop-ups, sampling and tours. Others never touch the venue and focus on getting the right people to register and attend.

This guide compares 27 agencies, grouped by the job they suit. It shows the event work each firm names on its own site, what the two firms that publish prices say and leave out, and what to agree before you sign.

DisclosureJake Jorgovan is a partner in Fieldtrip, a group of marketing agencies, which is mentioned in this article.

Compare event marketing agencies by the job you need

Every firm below shows an event or experiential service on its own pages and names or describes at least one event, client or case. The list has no ranking. Groups follow the job, and firms run A to Z within each group, ignoring "The".

Several firms cover more than one job, so read the services column as well as the group.

27 event and experiential marketing agencies, grouped by the job they suit and A to Z within each group (ignoring "The"), as their own sites described them on October 6, 2026. Client names, counts and awards are the firms' own claims.

Think Orion website, captured October 2026.

Potential fit
An education event, including a professional-development conference or webinar, that needs registrations and ticket sales
Published pricing
its events FAQ suggests $7,000 to $14,000 a month in marketing investment for established education events, without saying whether that covers fees, ad spend or both; its pricing page lists education marketing plans from $997 a month plus research, without saying whether any covers an event campaign

Think Orion's events page headlines a Singapore FinTech Festival campaign that "drove 12,000+ registrations" and says Marriott "tripled attendance targets in under 6 weeks". It reports "1M+ event registrations driven" and "200,000+ tickets sold" for education events, with no period or counting method.

The page focuses on education events such as conferences, webinars, open days and summits. Its separate pricing page (opens in a new tab) lists two education marketing plans: creative services from $997 a month plus research, and a growth partnership from $3,500 a month plus ad spend of $5,000 or more. It does not say which plan, if either, covers an event campaign.

Ask first
which plan would apply to your event, and whether the FAQ figure includes ad spend.

What event agencies publish about fees

Among the 27 firms, two publish prices on the pages read in October 2026, and both market events rather than produce them. SeeResponse says most of its event-marketing retainers start between $2,500 and $7,500 a month, depending on how much of the work it takes on; a single campaign can be priced as a project, ad spend is extra and there is no minimum term. Think Orion's events FAQ suggests $7,000 to $14,000 a month for marketing established education events, without saying whether that covers its fee, ad spend or both, and its pricing page lists education marketing plans from $997 a month plus research, with ad spend on top for its growth plan; it does not say whether any plan covers an event campaign. The Concierge Club's quote form offers budget bands from below $25,000 to $500,000 or more; these are inquiry choices and do not establish a fee or a minimum. Relish says cost depends on the product, location, duration and sample volume.

None of the event producers publishes a fee on the pages read. A production budget depends on the venue, the build, travel, staffing and the number of attendees, so the useful comparison is between itemized proposals for the same brief. Ask each firm to separate its fee from pass-through costs such as venue, AV, freight, travel and ad spend, and to say how changes after signing are priced.

Include insurance, Wi-Fi upgrades, service charges, setup and teardown labor, vendor overtime and late-change fees in your budget. A contingency line for technical failure belongs in the budget from the start.

How to choose an event marketing agency

  1. Name the job before you brief anyone

Decide whether you need the event produced, an activation staffed or an event marketed. A producer may not run your registration campaign, and a promotion agency may not touch the venue. If you need two of these, decide who leads and who owns the attendee data.

  2. Ask for events like yours, with a named client and a date

A named event of your size and format, run in the last few years, tells you more than an award list or a wall of logos. Several firms above date their cases; where a case has no date, ask when it ran and who on the current team worked on it.

  3. Read each case for its conditions

A result depends on the brand, the budget, the existing audience and the year. In 2019 I called my own headline misleading: it made a business look like a six-month success when it rested on fifteen years of work before it. Read an agency's best case the same way. Ask what the baseline was, how much was spent and how much the event already drew before the agency arrived.

  4. Agree the measures before the contract

Set hard measures, such as registrations, attendance, leads, sponsor revenue and meetings booked, and soft ones, such as satisfaction surveys, social mentions and post-event interest. Agree who collects each one and when the report is due.

  5. Plan the follow-up as part of the event

Decide before the event who contacts attendees and no-shows, how quickly and with what next step, and record each attendee's interests in your CRM so the follow-up can be segmented. For an international audience, budget for localized content and professional translation, and check each venue's connectivity if part of the program is streamed.

Questions for the first call

  • Which parts of this event would your own team deliver, and which would you subcontract?
  • Show me two events like ours that you ran, with the client, the date and the scale.
  • Who on your current team ran them, and who would run ours?
  • Can we speak to the client contact from one of those events?
  • Tell us about something that went wrong on the day at a recent event, and what your team did.
  • Who handles urgent decisions on site, and how will we reach them?
  • What does your fee cover, and which costs are passed through at cost or with a markup?
  • How are changes after signing priced, and what contingency do you recommend?
  • Which hard and soft measures will you report, against what baseline, and when?
  • Who owns the attendee and lead data after the event?

What is the one result that would make your next event worth repeating?

How this list was made

Each firm's own service, work, client and pricing or FAQ pages were read on October 6, 2026. A firm is listed where its pages show an event or experiential service and at least one named or described event, client or case. Figures, client names and awards are the firms' own claims.
