On Letting Go

Every single one of us is addicted to something. It could be smoking, alcohol, television, overeating, overworking or any of other addictions. We all have something that we are constantly battling. I am sure if you deeply look at yourself you could name some of your own addictions. The issue is that these addictions hold us back from being who we want to be. When we have a bad addiction, it eats away at us, in more ways than one. When you are stuck in a bad habit that you know is wrong, yet you cant resist, it can be self-destructive and devastating on your life.

Look at yourself, and your habits, and ask yourself 'what is eating away at you?' What do you consistently do that you know is wrong, yet you can't help but do it. We all have something.

The first step is to recognize this issue, and then work toward changing it. Don't accept these behaviors and habits as a part of who you are and don't spend a single second wishing you were someone else. You are defined by your actions, and you have the ability to change who you are.

It's not easy, but just remember move one inch at a time, and you'll be just fine.
