ServiceNow Recruiters: 14 Staffing Firms Compared

By

Published Updated 14 min read

In many companies ServiceNow ends up running a large share of daily operations: IT tickets and changes, HR cases, customer service, security incidents. When the platform team is short of people, upgrades slip and requests pile up. Hiring is hard because titles blur. A "ServiceNow developer" on a resume may be an administrator who has configured forms, and an architect's work is different again.

This guide compares 14 recruiters and staffing firms that fill ServiceNow roles. It groups them by how they work, shows the proof and terms each publishes, and ends with what to decide before you brief one.

DisclosureJake Jorgovan co-founded Alpha Apex Group, one of the fourteen firms in this list.

Compare ServiceNow recruiters by how they work

Every firm here has a page dedicated to ServiceNow recruiting or staffing, or recruits for ServiceNow alone, and publishes at least one named or described client, placement, case or testimonial. The proof column says whether that proof is about ServiceNow work or about the whole firm. The list is not ranked, and other firms also fill ServiceNow roles.

Region matters. Several specialists work mainly in the UK and Europe or in Asia-Pacific, while KORE1, Procom, Tier2Tek, TechnoLava and Edison & Black are based in North America.

Fourteen ServiceNow recruiters, grouped by how they work and A to Z within each group, as their own pages described them on October 7, 2026. Figures, client names and terms are what each firm publishes about itself; "Not stated" marks anything absent from the pages read.

Two testimonials on Edison & Black's ServiceNow page come from named clients. Kris Schefield of McKinney & Co calls it "our go-to source for ServiceNow recruiting", and Bobbi Warren, an HR manager at Ford, says Ford chose it for its ServiceNow expertise. Neither is dated.

The page calls Edison & Black "a pure ServiceNow recruiting agency" and says it has placed "hundreds of professionals in ServiceNow roles across North America" over more than ten years, as a certified ServiceNow partner. It recruits for ITSM, HR and customer service management roles, from administrators to certified master architects, offers permanent placement and contract staffing, and said in October 2026 that it typically replies to an inquiry within two hours. The wider company, described on its homepage (opens in a new tab), also offers Salesforce, Workday and ServiceNow consulting.

Linking Humans' case study, published in June 2024, describes The Process Play, a ServiceNow-based employee workflow company, setting up its ServiceNow practice. The case reports placing a ServiceNow lead technical consultant within a month and continuing to recruit for the practice afterwards.

Its about page (opens in a new tab) describes an agency "entirely dedicated" to ServiceNow, says every position it fills is at a ServiceNow partner or end user, and reported a 17.3-day average time to fill a role in October 2026, without saying how that period is measured. It publishes an annual global ServiceNow salary survey.

Permanent or contract ServiceNow hires across the US, Europe or Asia-Pacific through a ServiceNow brand inside a recruiter that covers many enterprise platforms
Where it works
US, EMEA and APAC (its ServiceNow page)

Nelson Frank's ServiceNow page reports 900+ job seekers placed. On the same page, Mark A. Ceely of Beck Strategies Inc. calls it "extremely proactive in staffing our needs", from new consultants to accounting and networking roles, and says he was once one of its candidates himself. The quote carries no date; the page was published in May 2026.

Nelson Frank is the ServiceNow brand of Tenth Revolution Group, which nelsonfrank.com redirects to. The page says it is "dedicated solely to ServiceNow recruitment" and has supplied ServiceNow talent since 2018, for administration, development, architecture, consulting and project delivery across modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HR service delivery and security operations. It offers salary benchmarking, and the group is an authorized ServiceNow training partner, so it can combine hiring with training.

A ServiceNow hire in Australia, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East or Africa, with one named recruiter as the contact

An employer, named only as Allan, wrote in September 2025 that Greg Thorpe "has been great at guiding me through the ServiceNow market". The review is one of 31 that Talent Flow reports from Greg Thorpe's profile on the SEEK job site, with an average of 4.94; most of those shown come from candidates.

Talent Flow is a ServiceNow recruitment and advisory practice for the Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa regions, led by Greg Thorpe. It reports 7+ years working only in ServiceNow and offers shortlists of certified specialists for permanent roles and contract talent for implementations and upgrades. Its homepage promises one recruiter "you'll actually reach".

ServiceNow specialists and platform leadership hires through a firm that also runs executive search

Alpha Apex Group's ServiceNow page reported firm-wide figures in October 2026: 2,000+ placements worldwide and a 43-day average time to fill full-time hires. It also says new candidates reach the hiring manager's inbox within 72 hours, without giving the scope of that figure. The client logos on the page, such as AWS, Meta, Siemens and Zendesk, are not identified as ServiceNow clients, and the page names no ServiceNow placement or case.

The page describes sourcing people who customize and deploy ServiceNow, together with leaders who can guide platform strategy.

US teams hiring ServiceNow developers and architects on contract or direct hire

KORE1 reports a 92% 12-month retention rate for the ServiceNow developers it places. Its ServiceNow page also describes one client that runs a 45-person offshore development team maintaining a custom enterprise workflow portal, and says that environment needs an architect who can turn business requirements into a sustainable ServiceNow data model. The client is not named.

Its FAQ reported in October 2026 a 17-day average time to hire for mid-level developer profiles across contract and direct-hire searches, with senior developers and architects taking three to four weeks; it does not say where that clock starts and stops. KORE1 says it checks experience module by module, asking candidates to walk through implementations they built. It places on contract, direct hire and contract-to-hire, covering ITSM, customer service, HR service delivery, ITOM, security operations and integration roles. The firm has been in business since 2005.

A European ServiceNow hire through consultants who each cover one market

A case on Montreal Associates' ServiceNow page describes how the firm, already contract staffing partner to a global consulting firm, became its permanent recruitment partner too. The page does not say the roles were ServiceNow roles.

Its consultants "are focused solely on ServiceNow recruitment within their dedicated market area", according to the page, and the firm says it has grown since 1978 from an SAP consultancy. It recruits developers, business analysts, solution leads, architects, project managers and technical consultants across modules including HR service delivery, risk and compliance, and security operations.

Procom's article on its ServiceNow work, published in August 2025, says it placed ServiceNow business systems analysts and security specialists with banking clients and supplied ServiceNow business systems analysts to energy and utilities clients. The clients are not named.

Three named clients are quoted on Procom's ServiceNow page: Sarah Clayton of Red Hat, Griffin Webster of the Alberta Energy Regulator and Jenn Furlano of PWC Companies. They praise its responsiveness and vetting without saying the hires were ServiceNow roles.

Procom's vetting, as the page describes it, includes a hands-on platform challenge, certification checks in ServiceNow's Now Learning portal and reference checks. It places administrators, developers, consultants, platform owners and integration leads, handles contractor classification and payroll in both countries, and can supply a single developer or a full pod with an architect, a process consultant, developers and QA. Procom reports 14 offices across North America.

That case and the others inspected, such as Bosch and Sinch, do not identify ServiceNow work. On its ServiceNow page, SGI says it places ServiceNow professionals in pharmaceutical manufacturing, business consulting, IT services and oil and gas.

The ServiceNow page covers contract and permanent roles from administrators and developers to architects and program managers, across modules from ITSM to Now Assist, for both ServiceNow partners and end-user organizations, in the UK and Europe including the DACH and Benelux regions.

Tier2Tek's homepage features firm-wide cases, none about ServiceNow: 25 hires in one month for a land surveying company in Houston and a bilingual IT support technician for an insurance company in Denver.

Its ServiceNow page, read in October 2026, offered direct hire nationwide and said it evaluated candidates through implementation discussions and scenario questions, treating certifications as a baseline. Should you use a staffing agency or an implementation partner?

A recruiter or staffing firm finds people who then work under your direction, as employees or contractors. An implementation partner delivers an agreed outcome with its own team and manages the work itself. If you already have a platform owner who can direct the work, a recruiter is usually the better fit. If you need a module live by a date and have nobody to run it, start with a partner.

Some firms above sit between the two. Procom can supply a full pod, Next Ventures offers project teams, and TechnoLava and Edison & Black also sell ServiceNow consulting. Ask which model a proposal assumes, because it changes who is accountable when the work slips.

What to decide before you brief a recruiter

  1. Name the platform work and the role

Write down which modules the person will own (ITSM, HR service delivery, customer service, security operations), whether they configure, script or design, and whether you are a ServiceNow partner or an end user. An administrator, a developer and an architect are different searches. A Linking Humans recruiter writes (opens in a new tab) that roughly a third of the ServiceNow roles landing on their desk carry the wrong title.

  2. Write one sentence of success

On my podcast in 2022 I said that even when you promote someone into a new role, you need to define what success is and "write a job posting like you're hiring a new person". A hypothetical example for a ServiceNow role: "the HR service delivery rollout is live in two countries by the end of the year". It tells the recruiter what to test for, and it tells candidates what they are signing up to.

  3. Choose the model before the firm

Decide between a permanent hire, a contractor, contract-to-hire or a project team. Then shortlist the firms that offer that model in your region. If the role is a head of IT or a CIO who will own ServiceNow among other systems, compare CIO and IT executive search firms as well.

Questions to ask each firm on the first call:

  • Which ServiceNow roles like ours have you filled in the past two years, and can we speak to one of those clients?
  • How do you test platform skills: a hands-on exercise, a technical interview or certifications alone?
  • Is the fee contingent, retained or a contract margin, and when is each payment due?
  • What happens if the person leaves in the first months?
  • Does your quoted speed end at first candidates, a shortlist, an accepted offer or a start date?
  • If we need contract cover while a permanent search runs, can you supply it?
